SSFE will push their airspeed record beyond the previous project’s with an estimated airspeed of 300 ft/s. That's more than double our last aircraft!
It's only possible by using an electric ducted fan engine. The shift in propulsive technology from electric propeller to ducted fan is meant to increase the margin for which our speed records can be topped while providing members exposure to the inner-workings of fan technology.
